Well someone tell Busy that they're fuckin up big time (by "they" I mean the label & management)
They hyped up a song & told the fans that it would drop soon. Then an OLD, unreleased track (which was HORRIBLE quality) leaks & this record gets pushed back MONTHS?! Even though they put out the news & had ALL the fans excited for the record. That was all everyone was talkin' about for the entire week.. CRAZY BUZZ. & Even though Lupe went on a radio station (KMEL) & played it on the air..
By the time they actually drop it, NO ONE will be thinking about it. It will NOT be hyped, which might lead to it not doing as well as it should. It might even be overshadowed by other records.
Don't hype the fans up if you're not gonna deliver. And don't make Lupe have to suffer just because the label doesn't know how & when to put out a record & have it do big numbers.
Forreal. Someone go ahead & tell Lupe's team this. You can tell them I said this too.
