  1. Man I remember the first time I saw Kick Push! They were premiering the video on Bet's 106 and Park. I don't think Kick Push ever made it to the count down but, I instantly became a fan. I'm not sure, but Jelesia was hosting at the time and I remember her saying "yeah I like this song it's nostalgic" or something like that. I googled Lupe shortly afterward to see when his album was coming out. I searched for "Food and Liquor" the whole summer of 2006. Then September 19th (Food and Liquor release date) rolled around and it's been a rap ever since. I never heard the leak prior to the official release or a mix tape(because my computer was crap and I couldn't down load music). I just became a fan based off Kick Push and online Articles! And don't let me start reminiscing on this blog I remember when it was pink, purple and light blue.

  4. I first heard of him on Touch the Sky. I thought he was going to be a short Hispanic dude. My homeboy had two of his mixtapes and burned me a copy of Revenge of the Nerds. I've been a fan ever since.

  5. This is my favorite video from him... ^_^

My first time hearing of Lu was the Conflict Diamonds track when looking for Kanye's Diamonds from Sierra Leone...

Then I heard him on Touch the Sky where I was feeling the verse so much I ended up coming across tracks like Lupe the Killer and Pop Pop (Gi Mix) which were hot, but it wasn't till I saw the Kick Push video and heard that he went positive, where he became my favorite rapper...
