Damn Meg, you still blogging. Something popped in my head and said, "Let us see if The Lupe Fiasco blog is still up. Shoot it is on blog format and everything. When I first read this blog I was 22. Now I'm 33. Keep it going. I will never forget that shout out. I hope you're doing well. I can't remember her name, but the girl who got the Lupe tat on her arm, Royal? I think it was? I hope she is doing well too.

I had to check on this epic fan blog again. If they ever do a movie about Lupe Fiasco, this blog should be included.

@Ghostface Chilla, when I began reading this blog I was a wide eyed college student. I am teacher now. Just a random rambling fact, but I use Lupe lyrics as early morning Bell Ringers. I wish I had saved some of my students' writings. I told them give their interpretation of "Wherefore dose my glory go?" My kids broke it down in ways I'd never thought of.

Looking at this blog has actually been kinda cool, I wasn't here when the blog was first made (because I would've been like... 6 months old lmao). To be honest, when I first heard the shout out I thought the "this one is for you ladies" was in reference to Go Baby but I was surprised when I saw that it was actually a Lupe Fiasco fan page. Really cool stuff tbh

It's funny that, after all these years listening to "The Cool", I have never got to access "Lupe The Fiasco dot blogspot dot com", even though I always go with the lyrics on "Fighters".

Dear Lupe, I have absolutely no idea if you are ever going to read this but... Dude, you are one of my favorites ever. And "The Cool" is still playing daily on my ears. I still remember when I first heard of you: a best friend of mine — a brother of different parents — introduced me to "Paris, Tokyo" and it was love on first... hearing. For months, I used to listen to it everyday. I even wrote a letter to my first GF and dedicated the chorus of the song to her — to this day, she says "Go Baby" is her favorite track; mine is still "Paris, Tokyo", as it was the first. That was 2011.

Still in 2011, I went to the Norte Shopping mall, in Rio de Janeiro, where I was born and used to live (currently living in Rio Grande do Norte) and, when I entered the Saraiva Mega Store and went to the CDs and DVDs' area, to my shock, there it was: "Lupe Fiasco's The Cool", available for R$ 25, a great price. Didn't even think about it twice! Yes, I only knew one song, but I NEEDED that CD with me. And I bought it. And I still have that thing playing every single day. "Hi-Definition", "Hello/Goodbye (Uncool)", "Fighters" and "Go Baby" are amazing. Have no words to describe "Go Go Gadget Flow" — I had recently learned English back in 2011, just finished my course at 13 years old and I was able to FULLY RECOGNIZE the lyrics at that speed! Love to sing that out loud. Wow, so many great memories with this album, man...

I recently found out by that same best friend that you became a Professor and how I love you for that, man. To teach people about music and hip-hop is a great thing!

I'm so happy that this blog is still available. Thank you for being a partner even though we haven't even introduced ourselves to each other. I hope I can meet you one day to tell you more about "The Cool" and the memories in person, man.

Take care! Peace!
