Shout out to Jana!!!
Jana is the Manager over at the Lupe Fiasco restaurant in Czech Republic and she (i hope its a she lol) sent me this email in response to one that I sent them regarding the restaurant :)
Hi Keena,
first I need to be sorry for my imperfect english, i appreciate your interest about our restaurant. That´s the history about the name Lupe Fiasco - we were going to open a brand new restaurant in a (as we hope) design style for young people which like to have something good to drink, interesting food and great music in one place and all that for not too much money. Everything was almost ready, the only problem was the name, we tried to find something with sound, something everybody can remember. The boss found out the name Lupe Fiasco by internet, she can´t speak english at all, so, first we even didn´t know that it is a name of somebody famous, because in czech republic are all new songs and moovies with litlle delay. Later we found out that it is name of him, than we found the music and we really like it, we completely change the style of the restaurant, we have got his pictures on the wall, we´re playng rn´b and hip hop, of course we prefer his music to play, but you can´t listen whole the time the same. We have not any special Lupe Fiasco dish, but maybe you can help me about it, do you know what does he like to eat? We have in our special summer offer Lupe Fiasco drink, if you or your friends ever come to our restaurant you can try - it´s really nice. Sudenlly he never visited our restaurant, i don´t even think he know we exist, but if he do, itś gonna be pleasure for us.I have not any pictur now, but if you keep interested i can make some for you..

A Special Someone has a Birthday coming up...and YES I DO MEGAN!!!!!!! lol
For Lu's birthday this year we are giving all his fans the wonderful opportunity to send him your birthday wishes!
All you have to do take a picture or yourself holding a sign wishing Lupe a Happy Birthday...whatever you want to say, however long you want...its all you lol. Send your pictures to either kayceefnf@gmail.com or brandiva02@gmail.com and we will put all the pictures in a nice little slideshow and place it on the blog so that he can see it. (it will probably be up for a couple of days)

Next Sunday is the Grammy's
I took Sunday off of work JUST to see Lupe Fiasco win something Sunday...so the academy better not let me down :) Our boy is nominated for 4 awards this year...and if you forgot which ones hes up for...click here to check out the nominees

Im Boycotting Best Buy! *throws up the middle*
Quick Story...
So today I was looking for my In Search Of Cd (NERD) and couldn't find it so I decide to go to Best Buy to get another copy because I wanted to get it signed when I see them Friday...
So I go to Best Buy, which is where I always go to purchase my cds, looking for the N.E.R.D classic and all of a sudden I think to myself "hmmmm I should go head and pick up another copy of The Cool since my other copies are all skipping like crazy"
I found the N.E.R.D with no problem, they had a tab and luckily I grabbed the last cd left. After I got the N.E.R.D cd I began to go look for Lu's cd...this is where it gets STUPID...
The first section i look in for Lu's cd is the Rap section...common sense since he's a rapper right?? WRONG! no where to be found...I looked under the F's and the L's...negro was absent in both areas...
So at this point I begin to think "hmmm maybe they put him under the R&B/Rock section" so being the die-hard fan that I am, i proceed to go look in a section that I just know that he not gonna be in...and come up with....NOTHING...AT ALL.
During this whole time I'm on the phone with my Femme sis Brandi and Im telling her "either I'm blind, or this Best Buy straight not carrying Lu's music" Not giving up hope, I now decide to GO BACK TO THE RAP SECTION and look and see if maybe I over looked his tab amongst the staple of irrelevant artist that actually do have tabs...I see a tab for Lady Soverign, I see a tab for Lil Zane, even saw a tab for Mystikal (who I'm actually a fan of) BUT NO FUCKING TAB FOR LUPE MOTHERFUCKING FIASCO!!!!!!!
So at this point in time im causing a scene in Best Buy, I go ask the worker "Where is Lupe Fiasco in the Rap Section" he takes me over looks in the same place I do...he even goes over to the R&B/Rock section and he returns to me and says "We don't have him I'm sorry" and I'm like "What do you mean you don't have him!?!?!?...he's gonna be so hurt yall not carrying his music!" and I walk the hell off mad as hell...
Im HELLA disturbed with Best Buy. How the hell you got a tab for Lady Soverign...but don't even have nothing for Lupe Fiasco WHO HAPPENS TO BE A GRAMMY WINNING ARTIST? Im missing something here...and the FUNNIEST PART of this whole story is that I didnt even go in Best Buy to get The Cool but I'm glad I checked cuz im SURELY going to make sure that get Lupe back into their store!
After purchasing my NERD cd from Best Buy I get in my car and drive across the street to Target just to get The Cool (and I picked up 808's) Please don't ask me how many copies of The Cool that I have cuz I surely couldnt tell ya lol
For those that shop at Best Buy, check out your local store and see if they carry Lupe's music...if not get the store information and I'm gonna see about getting his music in the store...I don't know about yall but to me this is a SERIOUS PROBLEM!
