Bad Show at Nokia Club in LA

So call it me being a hater, call it me jelous, call it whatever the fuck you wanna call it… But i went to club nokia last night to see Lupe Fiasco. I have to say it has to be one of the worst rap shows i think ive every seen. I expected more, maybe too much from dude… Maybe i should’ve kept in mind that this is the dude that fucked up classic Tribe lyrics at VH1s Hip Hop Honors. I’m not a big fan of rap and a full on band. I’ve only seen one person pull this off with flying colors and that was Jay-z. I have yet to see The Roots and Kanye live and also i missed out on that Rakim, Ghostface, Brother Ali tour (Which i heard was really dope).

Back to Lupe…
Dude came out with a Mike Jackson type jacket… Cool… Underneath was another jacket. Which happened to be a sequenced looking Puff Daddy circa 1998 lookin thing. Underneath that was a rhinestoned tee shirt… From a distance it looked like a butterfly, but i think it as actually to pistols crossing. But still, rhinestones? really? haha come on…

He also assumed he was the first show at Club Nokia for some reason. Did someone not tell him Beck sold the place out like 3 nights before his show?

At the end of “Superstar”, there were like 3 break downs almost like a fin-alley. During this, Lupe was on his back what looked like some Susan Summers aerobics from days of Step By Step. So what seemed like it was grand closing, he gets back, throws a towel on his head and rocked another 2 or 3 songs. I enjoyed both his records, but this show was terrible. sorry.

Let's get right down to business on this post. All of you meat bags know that I don't like Lupe Fiasco and his corny ass music. This nigga only good song is Kick Push and he can't even skate. Anyhoo, unless you don't really follow hip hop news, you know that his 1st and 15th partner Charles Patton was just sentenced to 44 years in prison for conspiracy to sell drugs. There is a tape recording of Lupe and Patton talking about "white" and "yellow" packs on the day of the suspected drug deal, but Lupe said they were talking about music......The only reason why Lupe got off without being charged was because they didn't have enough evidence to accuse him of anything other than talking with a Patton. Also, he probably has a clean rap sheet without any felonies or jail time. Despite all his bullshit conscious songs, Lupe is actually a sometimey, Islamic facist drug dealer peddling H to Chicago's children. I hate to say I told you so....but I told you meat puppets he was a flake!

But wait, there is more. Lupe supposedly wrote on the okayplayer blog that he never heard of Midnight Maurauders and he doesn't give a damn about hearing it. Huh?! Is this dude insane? He is one of the main dudes besides Pharrell and Kanye trying to swaggerjack Tribe to the fullest. Dude is really talking reckless since he got his little bit of success. He has to be the flakiest mc besides the Game and Kanye. They all must have a tie for the dumbest shit done and said from 2006-2007. Was Lupe Fiasco a drug dealer?

It’s no secret I’ve had my share of issues with Lupe Fiasco. It all started about a year ago, when Lupe complained to the press about his album having been leaked to the Internets so long before its release date. I merely noted, in a post on this site, that he shouldn’t have complained as much, since that was probably the most publicity he had received up until that point.

A while later, Lupe was invited to post for a week on this site’s mercifully defunct (just like most of the other blogs here, if you think about it) Guest List blog. While he prides himself on hardly ever cursing, or advocating teh ghey violence, in his recordings, he took his first post here as an opportunity to call me a “b*tch ass nigga” and threaten to jump off in my ass. No homo.

I suppose it would be racist of me to suggest that such behavior may have had something to do with him being a Muslim, so I won’t bother.

I will note, though, that if there’s one thing Muslims are known for, other than blowing themselves up, it’s moving that H. Supposedly, quite a bit of the heroin on the streets here in the US is imported from Muslim countries such as Afghanistan. I never would have guessed that Lupe Fiasco himself would be involved in heroin distribution, but apparently he was. Or was he?

The other day, Charles Patton, a longtime associate of Lupe’s and partner in his 1st and 15th Records vanity label, was sentenced to 44 years in prison on drug conspiracy charges. Lupe himself managed to escape prosecution, though it’s been suggested that him and Charles Patton were partners in more than just sh*tty rap records. Nullus?

You’ll recall that when it was announced earlier this year that Patton would stand trial, and that Lupe would testify, it was revealed that 5-0 had Patton on tape making Amtrak reservations for himself and Lupe for March 25, 2003 and then setting up an OT drug deal for, you guessed it, March 25, 2003. Coincidence?

During the course of the trial, it was revealed that there’s another tape in which Fiasco and Patton are heard discussing splitting up “whole yellow” and “whole red” ones. Lupe testified that they were referring to the mixing of music tracks, and that he didn’t have sh*t to do with any drug dealing, except when he used to rap about it.

At any rate, Lupe walked free while his business partner will probably never walk free again. Which begs the question: How in the f*ck can 5-0 have your business partner making Amtrak reservations for the two of you to make a drug deal, plus another tape in which the two of you discuss splitting up yellow packs and red pack, and yet you got off scott free?

There’s an obvious explanation here, but again I’m going to avoid stating it too explicitly; because Lord knows I’ve got my fair share of problems already, and the last thing I need is some crazed Islamic fascist jumping off in my ass - or worse.

I personally believe that haters make the world go round, they provide motivation for you to DO YOU even more. If you don't have any haters, then I think YOU need to step your game up, because a hater is the first sign of success, it is a signal that you are doing something good. And as Lupe fans, we have defended him numerous times when HATERS try and say he's lame, or he can't rap, he's not lyrical, or when they base his whole career on Kick, Push. We've all seen massive amounts of Lupe Haters. So with this section, I would like to present the people who are helping advance Lupe's career by keeping him on their blogs, on the messageboards, or in a Miss Jones case, bringing more attention to his music.

I would like to introduce a piece that I will be doing from time to time where I will bring to your attention individuals that I personally do not like and you should not either; for very valid and un-superficial reasons. Today I will be featuring a one Lupe Fiasco…---I wanted to bring up some valid evidence to support my position. I found an interview that he did with AllHipHop.com:
