When I first seen Lu's outfit, I ain't gonna lie, I did think of Dre's boots he wore to the 06 VMAs..But I strongly doubt Lu was tryna bite intentionally....So whoever that is can have a tall glass of stfu.

WEll according to Lu he was suppose to debut his Fall Of Rome clothing line at the VMAs but they got held up in customs. So he went shopping and cop this fit. Oh yeah my source is Miss Info's blog during an interview

Don't everyone jump on me at once but......I wasn't feeling the outfit either. I too was reminded of Andrea 3000 when I saw those pictures of Lu. But I will say this, Lupe is a very good looking man. I'd personally like to see Lupe in a basic, immaculately tailored, 2peice suit with no tie and few buttons open. Just because he looks so great in clothes :)
and no gloves.
the fact is, Lupe is HEAVILY influence by Japan...walk down the street in that fit in Tokyo...instant love. That fit screams Japan. Just look at Verbal.
I'm sorry-- but I too am not feeling this outfit. But I won't hate; I won't hate. He -himself- still looks good.
It's wild how spectators become the creators of everything. Keep your criticisms locked away safely in your basements! The fact is Lupe can rock wahtever he feels like and you don't have to follow him. that's what separates individualism from social conformitiy....
